Meet Nesika Wilamut, your Willamette River Network

​We're excited to announce our new name, Nesika Wilamut! Nesika Wilamut means "One Willamette" in Chinuk Wawa, a contact language used by Indigenous peoples and European traders in the Willamette Valley. The name reflects our identity as an evolving, community-driven network that weaves together people and communities who care about human and ecological well-being in the Willamette River Basin.
