Within our reach 2024The Within Our Reach Gathering took place on January 11-12, 2024, in the city of Portland, OR, at Ecotrust. This gathering successfully brought together a diverse group of individuals who were deeply committed to positively impacting their communities and the health of the Willamette River.
During this two-day event, participants had the incredible opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, engage in meaningful conversations, and explore the crucial learning priorities that our esteemed Indigenous Advisory Council identified. Through thought-provoking panel discussions, networking sessions, and intimate group conversations, we fostered a collaborative environment where ideas were freely shared, relationships were nurtured, and innovative solutions were developed. The Within Our Reach Gathering was a powerful platform for collective action. We firmly believe that by coming together and harnessing our collective wisdom and experiences, we created tangible change and worked towards a more just and sustainable future. This event welcomed individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life, and we deeply valued each person's unique perspectives and contributions. Participants embarked on an exciting journey of discovery, connection, and empowerment. Together, we made a difference and demonstrated that creating a world well within our reach is possible. |
